So I have joined the world of Twitter. Please follow me. I can’t promise the most amazing tweets but if you know me, then you know I don’t like to disappoint! ClaytonWright_
Joyest moos as I confirm my first two fields I will appear in this year. Clayton Wright presents all the headline acts at OSFest 2012 including a line up of Razorlight, Hard-Fi and The Big Pink. Click on the link below for tickets and more information.
I also will be returning to the incredible Camp Bestival in July, where I will be hosting with interactive nonsense facilitors Lost & Found. We shall be running a very special Silly Olympics this year during the weekend of the actual Olympics’ opening ceremony. Much better than the real thing. Well at least more silly-er!
Comedian Jayde Adams and Clayton Wright salute Valentine’s Day (with one finger).

Barry Valentine, Head Nut Technician who rediscovered the plans for the fountain. (Now in-charge of Napkins)
The purveyor of bespoke interactive theatre, Gideon Reeling, has kindly been helping Cadbury Dairy Milk Chocolate combat the January blues. Gideon’s assistants have been assisting with ‘Joyville’s Magnificent Musical Chocolate Fountain’, officially the UK’s largest. Originally invented by Humphrey Humdundle and recently rediscovered when the plans were found on the back of a napkin, whilst a Joyville Nut Technician was doing some advanced cleaning. The fountain taps into the underground pipe network that pumps Cadbury Dairy Milk Chocolate up and down the country from Joyville. It has been a fantastic way to capture some joy (which gets swirled into the chocolate) but best of all it also gives joy back to all the Ladies and Gentlepeoples. Maybe we should all follow Joyville example and spread some joy in January. Check out the video.

The Christmas decorations have come down, the last strawberry cream is still kicking about in the tin and your waistline is the size of them monster truck wheels. Only one thing for it – a mega pop marathon workout on the spangly KOKO dancefloor! ‘Thank Cadbury’s’ for Guilty Pleasures who host their first party of the year and team up with The Fat Fighters from Gymbox to get you pumped and humped back into shape and feeling sexy once more.

Come down for a lunge, I can guarantee I will get you sweaty. The Fat Fighters is on Channel 4 every Tuesday at 8pm for the next 4 weeks.

So the critics came, they saw, they laughed (thank God) and they reviewed us in our West End debute. Yes Gideon Reeling or as Time Out call us ‘Punchdrunk offshoots and bespoke theatrical troupe Gideon Reeling bring their deliciously wonky take on the Xmas Party to the Soho Theatre.’
- Time Out
‘It’s the Christmas Party season. But before you go to your awful evening, you should go to this - the most bizarre office Xmas party you will ever attend. I went to last year’s critically acclaimed, sell-out run and it’s bananas.‘ - Le Cool
‘expect to be immersed into a hilarious world of grotty Santas and scary elf-men as the assistants lead you through a host of seasonal feats, party games and comedy songs.’ - Time Out

Warning show contains tinsel, mince pies, nuts and bulimia. Any allergies to fun must be left at the front door. Chrimbo kisses from Mr Reeling and his Assistants.

- Gideon Reeling’s Xmas Starty at the Soho Theatre

It’s that special time of year where I get a chance to organise something truly wonderfully bizarre for Rob da Bank’s Christmas special on Radio 1. This year I headed up the imaginative self titled ‘Operation: Mary was a Virgin’, where I got to lead the familiar festival favourites and pioneers of bespoke entertainment Lost & Found. Each year we turn up to Maida Vale, host the programme and perform dressed in sparkles completely tinseled up to the max. We have just about covered everything fancy dress theme from the blessed nativity to a full-scale Band Aid reunion and this year our ridiculousness continued as we adopted the guises of a Bavarian Folk Group (think German Christmas Market). Normally we sing each year as the Lost & Found Helium Choir but “Elf and Safety” being what it is this Christmas at Radio 1, I had to be even more creative because helium was off the menu. Luckily I know a trio of amazing delights called Goodbye Leopold that saved our bacon and kept this sacred tradition alive. With these three beauties onboard I was unstoppable and ready to inject Maida Vale with a huge flu jab sized dose of fun. Goodbye Leopold sang two backwards carols which I can only compare to sounding like the hypnotic melody of a siren, beautiful and magical all at the same time. Mark Ronson performed a live DJ scratch set which was followed by Jamie N Commons who has been nominated for the BBC’s future Sound of 2012. Then my new favourite friends Azari & III performed their brand of New York style house and soul which got everyone feeling funky fresh. Crystal Fighters were up next and finishing it off was myself with my Bavarian dressed friends, Lost & Found and Goodbye Leopold. We taught the bands and Robbie how to yodel and sung a very wonky version of ‘Silent Night’ in German. Funny stuff especially when you realise some of the German translations sound like naughty English words. Playground humour yes but it all added to yet another marvelous show. Merry Christmas.
Yes I’m back on the decks DJing. Not at a festival or on the radio this time, but at a new club night that packs a right old punch. ‘Blood, Sweat & Beers’ on the 8th of December at York Hall in Bethnal Green, East London. It’s a boxing night, with beer obviously and me playing some tunes in-between the violence. Pretty straight forward. This is not for the faint hearted, so if you like watching men hit each other, please come. If not stay home and watch Corrie, probably safer.
