This is where it all started for me. My love for live music, silly costume and ice cold pear cider. I have been there since the beginning. Firstly running a Speed Dating tent, then working my way up to presenting Bestival’s coverage as shown on Channel 4 and 4Music. The hippy in me thinks of Bestival as some kind of spiritual homeland and the other part of me sees it as a ruddy good weekend away with my mates. Over the year’s I have helped build the site, hosted with my infamous friends the nonsense facilitators at Lost and Found and even married folks in the Big Love Inflatable Church. Now I host the new Wishing Tree stage with Lost & Found and present on Bestival Radio. Yes that is Suggs behind me. Good spot. Thanks to this festival I have met some of the nicest people and seen some unforgettable live performances including Lily Allen, Grace Jones, The Maccabees, Björk, The Magic Numbers, Friendly Fires, Florence and the Machine, Lykke Li and DJ Yoda.
