The term ‘Politic-Gay’ does not just refer to the guys and gals that were having a cheeky snog outside The John Snow Pub. It’s a term that applies to anyone that takes the rights and issues of the gay community seriously. So when I heard some guy was trying to turn gay people straight, myself and another journalist travelled to the US to find out what he was up to. Politic-Gays GO GO GO!
Lee Page ”He’s a gay man and very happy about that” - Chris James, ITV Central.

Clayton Wright on Montel
Why YES, he is Chris!
Lee and I pushed ourselves to the limit on a personal and spiritual journery, that we both will remember for the rest of our lives. Producing and freelancing for ITV during our time at University, we signed Lee up to a course of Gay Aversion Therapy to see if it would turn him straight. The media really stood up and paid attention to what we were documenting. Even Montel wanted to know if we had gone all hetro!!!
You all will be pleased to hear that Lee is still a gay man and still “very happy about that”. The therapy did raise a lot of questions for Lee about his homosexuality. At this point I’d like to make clear, we did all this long before Louis Theroux went to The Blue Oyster Bar and our full length documentary was runner up in the Press Gazette Awards for Best Television Journalist 2007. Take that Louis. Watch the ITV report below.
